This collection of brush & ink paintings represent a blend of a Western eye and an Eastern brush. Leslie grew up with confidence and a sure hand...a perfect combination for brush and ink work. She follows the oriental technique which emphasizes "Say much with little". Her subjects seem to dance with spontaneity. This apparent spontaneity belies a strict artistic editing process. Her skill as an artist is revealed as much by what she chooses to omit as by what she chooses to reveal.
